Taste of Istanbul

A food walk from the European side of Istanbul to the Asian, with your guide telling the story behind each thing you eat.

What you'll experience

You start with a short introduction at a café in Karaköy, then walk the European side stopping at 5+ tastings, with your guide giving the history behind each one. From there you take the ferry across the Bosphorus to the Asian side, a short crossing that is half the point of the day. In Kadıköy you go through the fresh markets and try 10+ more foods and drinks, finishing on traditional Turkish sweets. The tour ends near the ferry port, so you can get anywhere in the city from there.
