Do I get to brew the Turkish coffee myself, or just watch?
You brew your own Turkish coffee from scratch in this hands-on workshop. An instructor guides you through the full process, and all equipment and materials are provided.
What is the fortune telling part of the workshop?
After you finish your coffee, you learn the traditional art of reading fortunes from the grounds left in your cup. It is a centuries-old part of Turkish coffee culture and is included in the session.
How much does the workshop cost?
Prices start from $40 per person, and the rate scales with your group size. Free cancellation is available up to 3 days before the tour.
Where do we meet for the workshop?
The meeting point is in Eminönü. Transportation to and from the workshop is not included, so please plan to make your own way there.
Is there anything to eat during the session?
Yes, a traditional Turkish dessert pairing is included alongside the coffee. Any additional food or drinks outside the session are not included.
How many people are in the group, and how long does it last?
This is a group workshop with a maximum of 15 people, and it lasts about 2 hours. You also get to choose between two special coffee blends and pick up home brewing tips to use later.
