What you'll experience

Ebru — Turkish marbling — is one of the world's most mesmerizing art forms. You drop paint onto water, breathe on it, and let it bloom into swirling, one-of-a-kind patterns that nobody else in the world will ever recreate exactly. In this hands-on workshop, led by Betul — a Mimar Sinan Fine Arts graduate and professional Turkish arts teacher since 2010 — you'll learn the traditional techniques of Ebru, create your own marble paintings, and take them home dried and ready to frame. All from a beautiful studio in Sultanahmet with a stunning rooftop view over Istanbul.
